Last updated: 18 September 2026

Antares Advisory Pty Ltd (“Antares Advisory”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, hold and disclose personal information when you visit www.antaresadvisory.com.au, contact us or engage our advisory services.

We comply with Australian privacy laws to the extent they apply to our business.

1. Our privacy contact

Our Founder & Director handles privacy enquiries directly. Christine — Founder & Director. Antares Advisory Pty Ltd. Email: christine@antaresadvisory.com.au.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, provide our services and operate our business. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and job title; information you provide in emails, meetings, enquiries or other correspondence; personal information contained in documents relevant to an advisory engagement; and billing details and transaction records relating to our services. We generally collect information directly from you. Where relevant to an engagement, we may also receive information from your organisation, authorised representatives, professional advisers or publicly available sources. Information may be held in correspondence, engagement documents and business records rather than a separate customer database. We do not ordinarily seek sensitive information, such as health information or political or religious beliefs. Please do not provide it unless necessary for an agreed service. Where collection is necessary, we will obtain consent where required by law.

3. Our website and analytics

Our website is hosted by Framer and uses its built-in analytics to measure website traffic, including visitor numbers, page views, referral sources and approximate geographic locations. Framer’s built-in analytics do not use cookies or persistent identifiers. Framer uses a temporary identifier derived from IP address and browser information to count daily visitors. This identifier resets daily, and the analytics reports do not identify individual visitors. Further information is available in Framer’s analytics documentation. Information you choose to send us, such as an email enquiry, is separate from these website analytics and is handled as described in this policy. If we introduce additional analytics or tracking tools, we will update this policy and provide any notices or consent choices required by applicable law.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries and communicate with you; prepare proposals and provide advisory services; coordinate authorised work with clients and relevant stakeholders; manage engagements, invoices and payments; maintain business records and meet legal obligations; and protect our systems and resolve complaints or disputes. You may make general enquiries anonymously or using a pseudonym where practicable. If you do not provide information reasonably needed for a particular request, we may be unable to respond fully or provide the requested service.

5. Our systems and service providers

We use Microsoft 365 for business communications and productivity. Personal information in emails, attachments and documents may be processed and stored through Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and, where used, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. We use Framer to host and operate our website and Xero to manage accounting and invoicing. We may also use IT and professional support providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business. We take reasonable steps to select appropriate providers, protect information held through these systems and limit access to what is needed for the relevant purpose.

6. How we share information

We may disclose relevant personal information to technology and administrative service providers supporting our business; professional advisers, insurers or contractors where reasonably necessary; client representatives, funding bodies or project stakeholders where authorised as part of an engagement; and authorities or other recipients where disclosure is required or permitted by law. We take reasonable steps to limit disclosure to information relevant to the purpose.

7. Overseas storage and processing

Our Microsoft 365 data-location settings confirm that core email and document content, including Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive, is stored at rest in Australia. Microsoft does not provide a data-location commitment for Viva Connections and Exchange Online Protection in our account. Where these services process personal information, it may be handled outside Australia. The absence of a location commitment does not establish where that information is stored. Australian storage commitments do not necessarily mean that all support or processing activities occur within Australia. Our website provider, Framer, states that its services are hosted in the United States. Information processed through our website may therefore be handled in the United States. Other cloud service providers supporting our business may also process information overseas, depending on their hosting and support arrangements. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take the steps required by applicable Australian privacy law. Further information is available through Microsoft’s data-location information, Framer’s privacy statement and Xero’s privacy notice.

8. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.

9. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by emailing christine@antaresadvisory.com.au. We may verify your identity before responding. We will respond within a reasonable period and meet any applicable statutory timeframes. If we cannot fulfil your request, we will explain why, unless prevented by law, and explain how you can complain. You may also request deletion of information. We will consider the request, taking account of any continuing legal or business need to retain it.

10. External websites

Our website may link to websites operated by other organisations. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies when visiting their websites.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on our website with an updated revision date. We will provide additional notice where required by law.

12. Questions and complaints

Please direct privacy questions or complaints to Christine — Founder & Director, Antares Advisory Pty Ltd, Email: christine@antaresadvisory.com.au. Please describe your concern and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days. If we need more time, we will explain why. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992. Its ability to investigate depends on whether the matter falls within its jurisdiction.
